So we’ve come to the end of the year as well as the Ignite100 accelerator scheme and what a year we’ve had!
Its been a very enjoyable and progressive 13 weeks working with Ignite100. We pitched to the investors at Tyneside cinema a couple of weeks back which went extremely well and all teams were very impressive.
Making Progress!
In the past month we have already managed to get 25 North East car rental companies on board which is an estimated 2000 vehicles! We are thrilled that we have moved forward so quickly and are very excited to work with these local car rental businesses and to grow our community of independent car rental companies.
This year has also seen the arrival of our new RentMama member Kate who is a Business Development Manager. Kate will be helping us grow RentMama sales as well as pushing with our marketing campaign.
The new year will see the launch of our brand new website which will have a number of features to help make the booking process a lot more easier, reliable and enjoyable for you. You will all be informed about the exact launch date soon and when we do go live we would love to hear your thoughts!
Like and follow us!
Rent Mama is an active social networking geekess who needs your support! We regularly post our latest car rental deals, competitions, polls, facts and info or maybe just random nonsense on our facebook and twitter pages but we love to hear your opinions and thoughts so please do follow and share!
Festive Party Time!
So to celebrate the end of ignite we had a party…or a few! We went to Codeworks Christmas PUD and met santa himself! It was a fab night of networking and we met some great contacts. The night ended on the dance floor of course!
All of the ignite100 teams had a Christmas dinner together on our last day in the UK before Christmas which was a lovely way to end the scheme. We’ve met some special friends though the scheme and will never forget the experience- we wish them every success! We also cannot thank our mentors enough for the help, support and guidance that they have gave us this year.
Enough of the soppy stories…New Years celebrations await!!! The Rentmama team have all gone home for a well deserved festive break!
We would like to say thanks for everyone’s support this year especially you guys!! Stay tuned as we will be back in the new year with an exciting launch in the North East.
